All of our soaps are handmade using the "cold process" method produced in small batches. This ensures that glycerin, which is a valuable by-product of the saponification process, remains in the finished soap, whereas in commercial soap making this is often extracted and sold separately. All of our soaps are super fatted, meaning that we add extra oils or butters to the soap beyond the amount required to fully saponify the Sodium Hydroxide.  The extra free oils and butters remain in their original state in the finished bar and provide additional nourishment to the skin. We only use plant based oils and butters, herbs, clays and pure essential oils to create the finest soap you can feel good about using. We NEVER use synthetic colors, fragrances, preservatives, oleochemicals, petrochemical detergents, or boosters.
